The Walking Dead Season 2 Will Have A Major Cliffhanger

In an interview with  E! Online, Gale Anne Hurd had some interesting things to say about the season 2 finale for "The Walking Dead":

When we mixed the last couple of episodes, 2.12 and 2.13, even my jaw dropped—and I was there when we shot it. I have a feeling, even though people are inveterate tweeters during episodes, I have a feeling there may be some significant periods of silence because people may not be able to click on their keyboards.

We (well those of us who read the comics) know there are certain characters more or less earmarked for death. With some deaths (such as Dale) occuring sooner than later, and other deaths (such as Sophia) occuring on TV but not in the comics, we're all guessing what's coming next. And Kirkman's manner of killing people off isn't to have them fade away gently into that long goodnight. So we can only guess what those "significant periods of silence" are going to be like.
