If you live in Illinois, beware, zombies are attacking, and your only defense is to make sure you wear your seatbelt! At least that's what The Illinois Department of Transportation wants you to believe in their new promotional campaign commercial for their "Click It Or Ticket" seatbelt program. Their ad claims that seatbelts prevent against zombie attacks. This ultra-cool TV commercial produced by Arthur Agency has begun airing across the state of Illinois, my home state, by the way, and we have the undead goodness for you to check out. By the way, make sure to always look in the backseat.
The promotional spot has 3 nearly identical versions, two in English with different drivers and one in Spanish. The zombie make=up was created by Kip Polley, President at Pale Night Productions, a haunt industry FX shop based in Saint Louis, Mo.
There were three tiers of "hero" zombies as well as several background zombies. Check out the commercial and some zombie pics here.
