Recently we told you that the Zombieland TV project had begun casting. Broadcast Now (behind a paywall, so checkout out Dread Central) brings us the following:
Broadcast Now is reporting that Amazon Studios is developing "Zombieland," marking its most high profile series since it announced plans to move into original programming a few months back.
As you may remember, Zombieland began life as a proposed CBS sitcom that eventually got turned into a feature film. This Amazon project will return the property to its original roots in the form of 30-minute episodes.
The television version of "Zombieland" will feature returning characters such as Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock along with some new faces and of course the usual rotting flesh-hungry, rule-breaking shamblers we have grown to love.
