Dead Rising 3 (Game) - New Details Come To Light

Set 10 years after the events of DR2, Dead Rising 3 follows a young mechanic named Nick Ramos - a dude with a strange tattoo and even stranger past as he navigates his way through Los Perdidos joining up with other survivors and fight their way out of the city during a nationwide zombie outbreak before a military strike swoops in and turns Los Perdidos (and everyone in it) into dust.

As with all Dead Rising games, anything and EVERYTHING is a weapon and with what Capcom says is a "virtually limitless variety of combo weapons," feel free to create your own tools like a "sledge saw" (sledgehammer fused with a table saw) to kill the fuck out of zombies. Dead Rising 3 will also place a "new emphasis on vehicles critical to survival" but they want you to know that this time around, zombs can cling to your vehicle in order to attack AND affect your steering physics… oh noes!

Of course, there's unlimited co-op, asynchronous matchmaking (can jump in and out of game at any time) AND not only will you help out your buddy's game, you'll level up in progression and earn XP that will carry over into YOUR game.

AND Dead Rising 3 will be in Blu-ray format for Xbox One… if you're into that sort of thing.

Dead Rising 3 hits shelves this November.
