Okay, I don't think it was real -- he seemed a little to cool about it to have been really frightened.
The Zombie Mob (Il Zombo Di Tutti Zombie) is a "family" of podcasters and other individuals with a common interest: zombie films. And the family meets every so often to watch a film that someone recommended.
