RENTED... to the DEAD, is a comedy, horror comic in the same vein as the Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland movies.

Set in the UK, its a story about loss, love, loneliness, sarcasm, horror and chronic boredom.

Our heroes are a group of twenty something employees of "RENT-IT" an international chain of rental movie stores, who are on the brink of facing bankruptcy. Based in the town of Maidstone in Kent (UK), our story shows how our survivors endure life against a backdrop of economic fears and social unrest, highlighting subjects such as UK high street/retail decline, 2011's London Riots and overhyped media paranoia.

The story begins with a news report about out of control rioting in the UKs capitol. As the police lose control and become overrun, people are starting to change, but is that the result of a strange madness, something more sinister... or just zombies!
